2008 Manawatu Hospitality Awards

Well, after a month of waiting, after preparing coffees for judges, last night i was stoked to be named 2008 Manawatu Barista of the year.

The Hospitality Community from Palmerston North and surrounding Manawatu towns came together at the Regent Theatre to celebrate the efforts made across the board in manawatu hospitality.

It was a fantastic night, and great to meet up with many people from other areas in our great industry!

Thankyou to all the oragnisers, judges and also to all the sponsers! it was great to be part of it! It is very inspiring seeing so many people passionate about thier areas in the industry, and seeing the enthusiasm spread can only be good for the industry, and will only lead to raising the standard across the board!

Also, i’d like to thank my customers, friends and family whom offer me support day to day, and encourage me to get out there and do my best!
