World Barista Competition
3 August 2007 in UncategorizedWell, over the past few days i have been following the WBC quite intently..
the results were out last night, after a very exciting event. I watched alot of the competitors thru their routine, thanks to the videos posted on www.zacharyzachary.com they did a fantastic job of covering it.
Our Own Kiwi Barista Champ, Carl Sara put on a very good show, which resulted in getting placed 3rd. Being up on stage would have been intense! hats off to all those guys that were there!
In the End the World Barista Champ, was crowned, and it was awarded to James Hoffmann of the U.K. He was a delight to watch, and even learn off. You can visit his Blog at www.jimseven.com he has some amazing photography centering around coffee also worth a look!
